DOUBLE DIPPERS
Winner of the 2007 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at The Mile, Aric Almirola, is entered in Billy Ballew Motorsports’ No. 15 truck, and will be one of three known double-duty drivers competing in both Friday’s Copart 200 and Saturday’s NorthernTool.com 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series race.  Almirola will also pilot Curtis Key’s No. 40 Nationwide entry on Saturday.  Add Ron Hornaday and Mike Bliss to both Friday night and Saturday night’s action, as Hornaday is in Kevin Harvick Inc.’s No. 33 Copart-sponsored truck and No. 33 Nationwide ride.  Bliss jumps into the #40 Key Motorsports truck before his regular duties behind the wheel of James Finch’s No. 1 Nationwide Series racecar on Saturday.

TRUCK DRIVERS LENDING A HAND TO EDWARDS AND BUSCH
Colin Braun, the newest winner on the NASCAR Truck Series circuit at Michigan Int’l Speedway last Saturday, has been selected by his Roush Fenway Racing team to be the practice and qualifying driver on Saturday for his RFR teammate Carl Edwards’ Nationwide Series ride.

NASCAR veteran and Necedah, Wis. native Johnny Sauter will be racing in his #13 Thorsport Racing truck on Friday night before dialing-in Kyle Busch’s #18 Joe Gibbs Racing Nationwide Series car on Saturday.  Sauter won the 2005 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at The Mile and became the first Wisconsin native to win a NNS race in his home state.

UPDATED LIST AT 13 NASCAR DRIVERS READY TO SIGN AUTOGRAPHS ON FRIDAY
Fans can receive FREE autographs from NASCAR drivers during a one-hour session on Friday afternoon, June 19, scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.

Among the growing list of expected Truck Series drivers to sign autographs are Brian Scott, teammates Ron Hornaday and Ricky Carmichael, with T.J. Bell, Stacy Compton and Gabi DiCarlo in her Mile truck race debut all committed to join in.

From the Nationwide Series side, add young guns Justin Allgaier, Michael Annett and John Wes Townley, plus Burney Lamar, Peyton Sellers, Brad Coleman, and Wisconsin’s own Scott Wimmer.  More drivers may be added, line-up subject to change.

The autograph session will take place on the fan midway just north of the Budweiser Pavilion.

TRUCK RIDES FOR WISCONSIN’S DEXTER BEAN, JOHNNY SAUTER
Westby, Wis. NASCAR driver Dexter Bean, who made his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series debut at Pocono Raceway with his family-owned Wisconsin-based NASCAR team, Black Jack Racing, will be competing in the #12 DGM Racing NASCAR Camping World Truck Series entry, vying for a spot in the Copart 200 field.  He joins Johnny Sauter as Wisconsin natives on the entry list.  Sauter is hungry to win again at The Mile, as the full-time Truck Series driver wants to back up his popular home-track victory in 2005 in the NASCAR Nationwide Series event.

FAMOUS DAVE’S CORNER – Trackside Hospitality $50 Includes Race Ticket
The tradition of NASCAR racing at The Milwaukee Mile just got a little tastier, as the new “Famous Dave’s Corner” offers an all-you-can-eat AND drink trackside hospitality area, where fresh, tasty Famous Dave’s BBQ served up right behind the seating section, creating a festive atmosphere on race day one hour before race time through two hours into the 200-mile race.

“Famous Dave’s Corner” is a far cry from soda in a dixie cup with a warmed-over hot dog, and packages are going fast.  On the menu to match the flavorful on-track action is Famous Dave’s BBQ pulled chicken sandwiches, Georgia chopped pork sandwiches and seasoned fries.  Included is Bud Light beer and Coca-Cola products, which will be served responsibly, to help wash it all down.

One set price of $50 on Friday, June 19 (and just $65 on Saturday, June 20) in “Famous Dave’s Corner” is one of the best deals in sports.  Famous Dave’s chefs will prepare and serve in the area directly behind the seating section, North Terrace section ZZ, overlooking Turn Four of The Milwaukee Mile.

PROVEN SUCCESS AT THE MILE
Past Copart 200 race winners entered in Friday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series action include Ron Hornaday (1997), Mike Skinner (1995), Ron Hornaday (’97), Mike Bliss (‘98), Dennis Setzer (2004) and Terry Cook (’02).

Copart 200 Driver Introductions are scheduled to take place at 7:30 p.m., with the green flag waving shortly after 8:00 p.m. Friday night, June 19.

The Milwaukee Mile remains one of the original speedways to host the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series since the inaugural 1995 season.  Only drivers Ted Musgrave and Johnny Benson are listed more than once on the Truck Series all-time Mile winner’s list.  The Copart 200 this Friday night, June 19 will continue a strong tradition of NASCAR racing at The Mile that began in 1984.  The Milwaukee Mile hosted it’s first strictly stock car race in 1948, won by Paul Bjork, in the same year NASCAR was founded.

Copart 200 race tickets are available for purchase at The Milwaukee Mile ticket office in advance, and on race day at the ticket booths on the fan midway.  The ticket Will Call window is located on the side of the Wisconsin Exposition Center building facing Turn One of The Milwaukee Mile.
