Donation Guidelines

We sincerely thank you for your interest in The Milwaukee Mile in making your fundraising efforts a success. To better facilitate your request, please review the donation guideline criteria now in place at The Milwaukee Mile:

• All donations must be made in writing on organization letterhead.
• Donation requests will not be accepted via phone, messages, fax and/or email.
• Donation requests must be received four weeks prior to your event for consideration.
• All requests must include the following:

  • Formal request letter on the nonprofit organizations official letterhead
  • Organizations mission statement or brochure
  • Organizations tax exempt ID number
  • Type of fundraising event
  • Event date & expected number of attendees
  • Event coordinator’s full contact information: name, affiliation, address, daytime phone number & email address

• Donations will be considered based on the following criteria:

  • Mission of the event
  • Social responsibility of and/or impact of the charity
  • History of the event and organization
  • Location of the organization – Must be located in the State of Wisconsin
  • 501 (c) (3) Non-profit status – must provide a valid tax exempt ID number with the written request
  • Availability of donations

• The Milwaukee Mile cannot accept donation requests for the following:

  • Monetary donations
  • Monetary sponsorships
  • Institutions religious activities
  • Donations for online auctions

• All donation requests must be made in writing and mailed to:
